The reason being, is that if you've already cleansed thoroughly, you won't need the cotton pad to remove any residue, so instead they simply pat them in. That, combined with an extremely watery product, means it would take the hands of a surgeon to control the amount of product you dispense. Rice contains amino acid and essential mineral, consolidate the skin protection fence, bring a healthy skin from inside out. I just got a sample of this to try but I wish it was a bigger sample so I had enough to try for a good 4-5 days! For those of us who have had sake hangovers (which I maintain are the worst kind of hangovers), this smell brings back immediate flashbacks.

it Removes whatever residue is still on my face after my 3 step cleansing ritual, but does so in a very gentle and nourishing way. This is the superb flavor of authentic dryness: robust taste with a hint of roughness and a refreshing, crisp finish that lacks any unpleasant sweetness. Even if I run out of my holy grail products, having this massive bottle in my routine will be more than enough.

If anyone is sensitive to fragrance you might not like this product but personally i can tolerate the smell. Sake contains koji acid which has been shown to brighten the skin and alpha-d-glycosylgycerol to help improve the skin’s elasticity and even help your skin look younger. I happen to love it, but my husband says it smells like farty putty to him, so every opportunity I get, I chase him down with it all over my hands. Open straight from the fridge to enjoyed a rounded fruity taste or warm to 40C to open the classical rich Junmai notes. I feel like my skin has improved a lot since using this stuff, but I can't exactly put my fingure on how.

This skincare lotion from Japanese sake maker Kikumasamune if is formulated with real sake which has powerful hydrating, soothing and smoothing effects on the skin. Just like the lotion, it does have a quirky little whiff of sake, but after a few moments, it's gone. But if your skin is exceptionally dry or if you’re skin is more mature, I would say go with the pink. Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, sodium styrene/acrylates copolymer, methyl gluceth-10, maltitol, glutamic acid, arbutin, leucine, glycine soja (soybean) protein, ceramide 3, arginine, placental protein, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, ceramide 6 II, hydroxyethylcellulose, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, sodium citrate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, rice ferment filtrate (sake), fragrance. The first time I heard about this product, I was super intrigued by how Sake can be used for skincare.

I only ever break out on my chin, and haven’t had any blemishes at all in at least a month or two, so this was a pretty striking reaction. I thought it was maybe a snail allergy, but my Mizon breakouts were just lots of CCs, not a histamine reaction. Whether it is budget friendly or high end, she plans to share with others her beauty adventures and beauty experiences on this blog. I looked for similar products (but without the horse placenta extract, obviously) and was able to find an almost-dupe that looks as though it should perform just as well as the Kikumasamune one: Cezanne – Ceramide Skin Conditioner High Moist (ingredient analysis here). Placenta extract and arbutin as a moisturizing ingredient, and high moisturizing ingredient ceramide that decreases with age are compounded.
