Description

This one is for educated, forward-moving, experienced, interesting, dashing men - at least in their mid-thirties.

Elle est la nouvelle version de l'eau des années 80; elle est très classique et donc à porter en toute circonstance ; elle fait l'unanimité auprès de l'entourage et quelque soit l'environnement. The heart sneaks in a bit of jasmine hedione with the expectant lavender, and a slightly-nutty arrangement of spices also kick in, with cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander and clove blending so seamlessly, that only the clove really sticks its head out. Eau Pour Homme is a little more linear "younger brother" of Dior's Eau Sauvage, but differences are quite noticeable on my skin. Have both the old and new versions - in a side by side test, they did a pretty good job with the new one. It's more closer to what I remember the original to be though with less moss though the new one does seem to be brighter/fresher. Smelling vintage Armani Eau Pour Homme also lends insight into why Armani would desire Acqua di Giò pour Homme (1996) to be so citrus-charged (and distinctly not blue) for an aquatic, showing some continuity.

Now that I’m older and know more about the things I am smelling (at least I like telling myself this) I can appreciate it for what it is and not just, “this smelled like my father”.

Suggested use is office or casual spring and summer outdoors, since something this bright and mild-mannered would take a beating and go invisible in the cold air, with wear time is adequate for an eau de toilette at about 7 hours max. They're present, but in the background, while the main ingredients are citruses(mainly bergamot) and spices (I feel the mix of cloves and nutmeg). Bitter lemon peel, lavender, sandalwood, clove and oakmoss mixed in perfect balance for a masculine statement. Dry down is slightly musky, but the overall citrus freshness is retained close to the skin as the vetiver announces its arrival.

There's a slight retro feel for sure but not enough to feel dated in the way that many 80's masculines can.Unfortunately since its reformulation (like many other perfumes) it is not the same at all, I have turned the page. uk//en/armani/armani-eau-pour-homme-eau-de-toilette-spray/p_31390/ 31390 ARMANI EAU POUR HOMME https://i1. In the late 80's as a very young man, I made my first ever purchase of a fragrance and this was it, Armani Eau Pour Homme. British violinist Charlie Siem and Italian photographer (son of Italian Vogue editor in chief Franca Sozzani) Francesco Carrozzini are chosen as the models for the new fragrances. The only downside on this one is the longevity, especially if you live in a hot country then it would evaporate very quickly.
