Whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner, this set is a great addition to any Warhammer 40k collection. I'd guess its a Space marine and CSM Boarding Patrols box and an Arks of Omen themed CSM Battleforce around Abaddon.

Our fantasy figure range consists of Goblins, Dwarves, bits, bobs and things that go bump in the night. I’m bouncing lots of ideas about melta charges, grenade launchers, grenades, and ammo packs around in my head. We’ve already discussed what a Boarding Patrol detachment looks like, but if you want to get involved with a fresh force, check out these two new Boarding Patrol boxes. i assume the bale force one isnt supposed to be a boarding action force because it has a flyer in it?

The Boarding Patrol - Chaos Space Marines from the Warhammer 40k range is the ideal place to start building your Chaos Space Marines collection - giving you a great selection of the most important units for your army. If you want an indicator of where I stand next to these grognards, my first starter set was Dark Imperium. I’ve omitted the word Winter from the challenge’s name because I reside in the Southern Hemisphere and I’m writing this in a record heatwave.

My interest ignited while playing Dawn of War at age ten (let’s not discuss the parenting that led to this).Take part in epic skirmish conflicts in the 41st Millennium and fight tactical battles through the winding corridors of abandoned Space Hulks and voyaging battleships with the new Boarding Actions Warhammer 40,000 game format. Instead, we mostly have mono-wargear squads that are much easier to handle in gameplay, but somewhat less interesting to unbox. For this challenge, I settled on this list (it’s actually 500 points once Arks of Omen is official). Within this box, the notorious Black Legion, led by the formidable Warmaster Abaddon, demonstrates their unmatched prowess in the galaxy.

That will give you a bit of wiggle room for wargear (although not by much — we’re talking 50 points). If you need points shave off 10 cultists and add wargear or upgrade the Sorcerer to Terminator Armour. And to get you jump started GW is launching a few new products that will make it super easy to put one together. These fervent followers add to the thematic chaos, showcasing the legion’s ability to overwhelm their enemies through sheer numbers and zeal. In this list, he’ll be representing a Primaris Lieutenant, but the model could slot into just about any thematic stealth-oriented list. A squad of Veteran Intercessors modelled with boardhing shields is there to give cover and start parties.

I was always a little saddened that personalised, elite ranged troops never made it over the Rubicon Primaris. I started giving them the Abaddon treatment while waiting for my other kits to come in, and I’m feeling confident. I tell her that I positively must pick up a Phobos Strike Team Box, Deathwatch Veterans, Hellblasters, and the Black Templars Upgrades. I crawl through my accumulated bitz box for ideas – a compartmentalised mash of Imperial Guard, scenery and Space Marine pieces. Rules for playing Boarding Action games of Warhammer 40,000 can be found in the Arks of Omen: Abaddon supplement. Our mission is to guide new players in the first steps of their tabletop journey in the grim, dark future. Only showing 5x CSMs not 10 on Boarding Patrol photo is strange too, not showing all the minis included! Balefleets are the cohorts raised by Abaddon and Vashtorr, tasked with collecting the artefacts needed to complete their meticulous plan. If you’ve been living away from the bullhorn, Boarding Actions are the small-format 40K ruleset from Arks of Omen focusing on infantry and close-quarters combat. The inclusion of iconic figures like Abaddon the Despoiler, with his legendary weapons Talon of Horus and Drach’nyen, adds a layer of narrative depth, illustrating their ancient hatred and exceptional skill.
