Earlier I noted that the new goal of Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters when using the Creepy Cellar expansion is to drop off the twelve Cursed Treasures at the idols in the cellar. With more action decks, trap doors, and secret passageways, this expansion takes the original game and adds even more chilling, ghost-fighting thrills!

The active player rolls one battle die if he is the only player in the room or he rolls two battle dice if there is more than one player figure in the room. Strategic, fun, feels like navigating through the game of Clue while battling ghosts as opposed to solving a murder mystery. Materiali buoni, spedizione perfetta, istruzioni in italiano (comunque il gioco non è dipendente dalla lingua). They duck in and out of the hallways, into bathrooms and various bedrooms - and they’re bustin’ ghosts along the way. This was a game that the kids have been running from room to room pretending to play in real life when it's not on the kitchen table, and something that's challenging enough to keep the attention of the adults in the room. The Creepy Cellar expansion for Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters was designed by Brian Yu and features artwork from Pierô.

This expansion is great, but you should know going into this, it swings the difficultly the other way. The Ghost King, a new type of ghost, is placed in room L and four regular ghosts are placed out onto the boards into four different rooms indicated by a circle in the rooms.Either the treasure hunters get all of the treasure out of the mansion in time and you all win, or six rooms become haunted first and the treasure hunters are doomed! To fight a ghost, you roll a special battle die, if it lands on a ghost icon when you're in a room with a ghost you defeat the ghost and they leave the room. In addition to freeing up your backpack to hold treasure and letting you leave the house, you also get one additional benefit for dropping off a Jinxed Item into the appropriate room: you get to place a discarded Secret Passage tile back into play. Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters is the ultimate co-operative game—win or lose, you're all in it together!

Here you’ll find all our top game recommendations so you and your family can play only the best games together! was for the kids to sneak into the house, grab a treasure, get back out of the house and drop it off, then repeat that for all eight treasures. Strangely, despite all the extra barriers the game seems to be throwing against the players, it (at least on the basis of the plays so far) does not seem to be considerably harder to win. If the house becomes too overrun by ghosts and there are no more ghosts or haunts left to be placed in the house the team loses. The theme of this game lets us use our imaginations - and the beautiful pieces are the icing on the cake that helps us with the role playing.

Once all of the Cursed Treasures are safely placed in the cellar, all of the kids still have to escape the house. The first several rounds feel pretty harmless, but once the ghosts accumulate and hauntings start occurring, people start to realize that the game can be quickly lost. It is a very challenging game for us, and has become one of our go-to cooperative games (along with Samurai Spirit). Due to the fact that the game now has more “special” cards in it, the odds of drawing two or three ghosts after one of these cards is much lower than in the base game. Reveal a ghost card – If there was a ghost token on the die (again, any result other than a 6), you then reveal the top card from the ghost deck.
