Supplying to the surrounding villages including Stratton, Siddington, South Cerney, Cotswold Water Park, Ashton Keynes, Minety, Cricklade, Somerford Keynes, Lechlade, Kempsford, Fairford, Latton, Chalford, Amberley, Bussage, Nailsworth to name but a few. All of our Christmas Trees sold from our premises outside of Cirencester are grown within the UK to ensure the freshness and quality from our growers to your business or home. At about 2 feet in diameter and roughly 10 inches tall, it takes up some real estate and smaller tree skirts won’t be able to cover it. The single cable goes through five pegs (most tree stands have three or four) and pulls them all together around the trunk. The other major complaint is a loss of tension in the ratchet and claw mechanism, which can allow a tree to topple over.

Cinco’s improvement to this standard system is that each screw has a release lever so it can be quickly snugged up against the trunk and then tightened for only the final turns. And it does look pretty innovative – without any tools needed, three pieces of metal are snugly slotted together around your tree and fixed in place with wooden wedges. But definitely not difficult, and it held a lot more water [than other stands], as I remember, which is nice. OK, so it's not strictly a stand, but this metal Christmas tree skirt merits inclusion as a visually arresting alternative to the plush fabric versions you're likely to see.I’m not sure why the manufacturers don’t just include a secure locking mechanism with the product itself. Easy to decorate and even easier to maintain, the pot-grown tree is a brilliant way to bring a festive feeling to your garden. Operating one of these Christmas tree stands is simple, simply place your tree within the base and use the foot pump or screws to tighten the base around it. Some products may be delivered straight to your door from one of our suppliers and these products will be labelled within the product description. A classic good 'un, the St Helens Home and Garden Festive Christmas Tree Stand Holder does its job nicely.

The Krinner can handle a wide range of trunk diameters (even very small ones), it’s extremely stable and it’s attractive, and the enclosed 2½-gallon reservoir has a gauge to show you its water level. Style meets function in this metal Christmas tree stand from Ferm Living, which is available in brass, as well as grey and black powder-coated metal. What truly completes a Christmas tree is when you place all the Christmas presents for your loved ones beneath. We also like the Cinco C-144E Express, which remains a reliable backup choice after several years of considering new models. Our gauge maxed out at 50 Newtons, which anyone with a physics background can tell you is not a lot of force—but, in most cases it was enough to tip over our test trees and not far beyond what you’d cause with an accidental bump into the tree. Additionally, it's a nice way to break up all the glitter and sparkles you'll have around your house by giving your tree something a little more homely to live in. Measuring 58cm wide at the base and 26cm high, the skirt is suitable for real and artificial trees up to 6ft tall. If you’re planning on having a smaller tree, Cinco also offers the C-148E, which has the same quick-release system, but is just sized down a little.

We tested the Krinner on two trees: a 6-foot-8 tree, which we put up unassisted, and a bigger 8-foot-4 tree, which was easier with a second person. Krinner also offers two models that function similarly to our pick, but have very different aesthetics. Whether it’s finding great products or discovering helpful advice, we’ll help you get it right (the first time). Unlike stands that require you to wriggle the tree in and fasten it into place with metal hooks, this Krinner stand uses a foot pump to secure the tree, so it's a one-person job.

If you want to set up a tree on your porch or some other area where a tree skirt isn’t practical, it will still look nice. I tested both of these Christmas tree stands and found that they’re each well-crafted products that are built to last—the Jack-Post steel model has a lifetime warranty, while the Krinner model offers a five-year backing. For size, it should have an opening wide enough to accommodate a roughly 4- to 6-inch trunk diameter—that’s the ballpark thickness of your typical Christmas tree, which has a height of 6 or 7 feet, according to the National Christmas Tree Association. Krinner is one of the most popular brands and one to watch – its stands require no fiddling with screws while trying to keep your eight-footer upright.

Some Christmas tree stands are designed to optimise your tree’s survival and reduce your own stress of getting poked by wonky tree needles.KRINNER’s Christmas Tree Genie XXL is our largest and best selling tree stand with the inventor’s original single cable operation. It is created from high-quality wicker, so you'll be able to take it out of the cupboard every time your favourite holiday comes around. Good quality and sturdy, does the job perfectly covering all the wires and stops the cats getting in too.
