I'd always thought the album sounded a little lacking in detail and presence, despite most aspects being top notch.

The hard bound book that accompanies the box sets includes 40 photographs, many of which have never been published before, and liner notes by Joel Bernstein. My personal opinion of the most recent vinyl reissue of Harvest (Neil Young Archives) was that it was beautifully presented and also very nicely cut and pressed. my copy has terrible split pretty much the entirety of the top and bottom of the jacket, but other than that, is absolutely perfect, let it be a little noise. Harvest, Neil Young’s fourth album, proved even more popular than its predecessor, After the Gold Rush. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.Ultimately, if you want the best Harvest, you should track down the DVD-A - the Hi-res 2 channel on this (24bit 192kHz) is awesome. I compared the original and the 2009 Reprise pressing of Harvest to the very good Nautilus Super Disc edition from 1982. Additionally, the hardbound book will include never-before-seen photos along with extensive liner notes by photographer Joel Bernstein. As much classic rock radio abuse as it got, 'Needle And The Damage Done' is still a song about a heroin addict and the preamble to Tonight's The Night. Mastering and soundstaging have achieved an effect whereby it sounds like Neil is sitting in my living room playing casually.

However, it wasn’t quite as impressive as I was expecting, especially compared to others in the series, which in many cases were superb.I speculated at the time that considering Chris Bellman claimed to be working from the original analogue masters, perhaps they had suffered unduly and were beginning to fade. Though I often consider vinyl to be a bit like wine - worn vinyl has probably been thoroughly enjoyed and played often - you could keep vinyl unplayed or wine unopened but in both cases you don’t enjoy it! After 20 years, Neil Young finally decided to release the sequel to Harvest, his most commercially successful album. Condition - This item is in Excellent condition or better (unless it says otherwise in the above description). His fourth solo album remains one of the most beloved in his catalogue and is full of with songs which have become all-time classics.
