Now 6 was originally released in November 1985 and was the biggest selling ‘Now’ at that point in time. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill: Great song, re-entered the chart last year following its use in 'Stranger Things'. I’ve got a soft spot for this one because it was used for one of the idents on VH1 Classic back in the ’00s, when Geth and I lived in Edinburgh and could still get Virgin TV with its huge variety of music TV channels. Since the release of Now 102 in Easter 2019, the corresponding Now album from 100 volumes ago has been re-compiled and re-issued on 2-CD sets on the same day. For the majority of tracks listed above, there are multiple compilations and releases that include the 7″ versions.

Released in association with the Official Chart Company to "celebrate 70 years of the official UK singles chart". The latter does not promote Now 6 but has small images on Nows 1-5 + Now Dance on the reverse sleeve.A triple-CD only release, Yearbook Extra: The Collectors Edition, is issued a few weeks later; these include lesser known tracks and more songs by big artists included on the main album and they are released only in standard gatefold wallet packaging. November 2020) David Bowie, Patti Labelle and Michael McDonald, and the Real Roxanne are the tracks that are missing. A video selection was also released featuring selected tracks from the main album and five which did not appear on any Now album.

Have been meaning to ask do you think Now made the right decision ditching the pig icon from this volume or do you think if should have remained? Eurythmics - There Must Be an Angel (Playing With My Heart): Yet another 'heart' song; another great song from Annie and Dave, with harmonica from Stevie Wonder. Due to the higher cost of pressing vinyl and the limited time they are available, they are at least three times more expensive than their compact disc counterparts. These compilations are very similar to the anniversary series, however, they contain a lower amount of tracks and retailed much cheaper than the former series. From a UK perspective this was a typical one hit wonder [they did enjoy other success in Europe] but it’s a memorable slice of quality Italo with great electronic rhythms.

Another strand of the Now Yearbook series, in August 2022, is the somewhat experimental release of a limited edition, extended play, 7" vinyl single, containing 2 tracks each from the 1983 and 1984 Yearbooks. While John and Andy rocked out with Robert Palmer in The Power Station, Simon, Nick and Roger kept a more new romantic vibe for Arcadia. album, from June to August in 1993, a series of ten, 40-track yearly collections were released on CD and cassette (but not vinyl), covering the years 1983 to 1992. With an astounding global sales figure of over 250 million copies, this franchise has solidified its place as a cultural phenomenon and an essential cornerstone of contemporary music consumption. In your view which tracks are worth looking out for to see if a different version is used to that on the original?
