The central line was necessary to treat Mr BAXTER's clinical deterioration but he developed a very rare but recognised complication from the insertion of the line. He was taken to hospital and arrested due to delusional beliefs from Mr SMITH that he may have committed an offence when he had not. He was taken to hospital on the 24th December 2022 and a CT scan showed bleeding to his brain caused by one or both of his previous falls.
